How to Crochet the Waffle Stitch
Let’s learn how to crochet the Waffle Stitch! This classic stitch pattern needs a Moogly tutorial, so today is the day!
Note that there are a few different varieties and twists on this stitch out there, but I’d call this one the most basic. This version uses a multiple of 3, plus 2 for the turning chain. Some varieties of the Waffle Stitch have one more “background” st between the grid-making post stitches – so that version would use a multiple of 4, plus 2 for the turning chain. There may also be different treatment of the stitches at the end, or other changes – and they’re all great!
